PLEASE HELP!

In January 2020 I took a last minute place for the London Marathon. However, due to the pandemic, this date was postponed a few times and is now taking place on Sunday 3rd of October 2021. (Not long now!)

As some of you may know, my main sport over the years has been boxing which requires a totally different style of training. This has meant I’ve had to put in a lot of hours of training over the last few months to develop my long distance running. Especially as I’m aiming to complete this marathon in under 3 hours!

I’ve been running 60+ miles a week, mostly running to and from my fire station in Surrey, I’ve lost weight, burned through a good few pairs of trainers, done as much research as I can and thank God, haven’t picked up any injuries!

I need all the support I can get from you all as I’m trying to raise money for my charity ‘Pecan Trust’ and time is running out.
They run Foodbanks in Southwark which provide emergency food for local people in financial crisis. They don’t just stop there, they also have a dedicated team of people that offer further support and services to help guide people out of the hardships they face. They are such an amazing charity and have done so much good work within the communities of Southwark.
