WellChild is the national charity for sick children. We provide essential practical and emotional support for seriously ill children, young people and those who care for them across the UK to ensure they receive the best possible quality of care.

Story

I am actually going to run the London Marathon this year. I am aiming to complete it in just over 4 hours 15mins.

This is going to be hard as;
a) I work over 70hours a week on a good week, so little training time,
b) I fell over and sprained my ankle and may have chipped a bone in my knee 4 weeks ago when trying to get on a bus, so training has just begun. MALCO!

Excuses out the way, now read below and sponsor me.

The charity I will be running for is WellChild.

WellChild is the national charity for sick children. Their aim is simple – they are working to support children and young people throughout the UK as they deal with the consequences of serious illness and complex conditions.

They focus on three key areas of care, support and research. They work with incredible WellChild Nurses, who are some of the top medical researchers in the country, and fantastic volunteers to make a positive difference to the lives of children who need them now and in the future.

WildChild have a supportive Patron (Prince Harry), a skilled team of staff who are based in Cheltenham, a committed Board of Trustees, a dedicated advisory panels full of experts, and a profile of celebrity supporters.

All of this – together with the generosity and support of members of the public right across the UK – contributes to the growing success of WellChild.

PLEASE DONATE GENEROUSLY. I NEED TO RAISE £1500 TO TAKE PART.
