Story
In my time I have raised many £1,000s for charity causes - the first time, it was 1988 and I was collecting in pubs for Comic Relief. In a nurse's outfit...
A good friend suggested I use and lose my beard for charity. So, here I am. It will be the final last time I get to fundraise in my life, and St Peter's Hospice is my chosen benefactor.
St Peter's Hospice is Bristol's ONLY adult hospice caring for local people with life-limiting illnesses. Our commitment is to improve the quality of life of patients while extending care and support to their families and loved ones. All of our care is provided free of charge, but it costs us around £20,000 a day to provide that care. For most of this money we rely on Gifts in Wills, donations, fundraising and our shops.
Thank you for reading this, thank you for any donations, and may your beards all be beautiful ... ;-)
