In March 2019, Jo, Rachel, Jaki and Iain will be taking on the massive challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Louie. Please give what you can. Your support will make a massive difference and really help us to make it to that finish line! Thank you so much
Louie was born on 8th August at just 23+6 weeks, due to him being so premature and having underdeveloped lungs he sadly passed away on 9th August. Louie was a little fighter and thanks to him and the neonatal team at William Harvey Ashford we were able to spend some time together before he drifted off peacefully in our arms. We are raising money for Tommy’s, a charity who funds research into saving babies lives.
Tommy’s is the largest charity funding research into pregnancy loss and complications in the UK.
They fund more than 1.5m worth of research every year in four centres across the UK, carrying out groundbreaking research into the causes of miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth. Our research network is now one of the biggest in Europe; hundreds of doctors and midwives come together across the Tommy’s research centre network to improve pregnancy safety for both mother and baby.
