Play Action International is taking a team of volunteers out to Uganda in summer 2022 to assist with transforming an empty field at a local school into an exciting new, safe and colourful playground! This important work will create a legacy for children to learn and develop essential life skills as well as nurture their physical, psychological and social development through the language they know best - Play!

My "WHY "... 

As an Educational & Developmental Psychology student at NTU I understand the importance of play for a child's overall development. Not only is play important for children's social development but a lack of play has been proven to impact a child's emotional development and their cognitive ability. By fundraising as much as I can and volunteering in Uganda next summer (2022) I hope to; 

1. Build an AWESOME playground with Play Action International 

2.Help the children learn key aspects of play such as role-playing which has been linked to mind development 

3.Create great memories with the team at PAI

I have a target of £1,100 which will all go directly to the charity. Any donations will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
