Some of you might be reading this message in the comfort of your own warm homes, others of you studying in heated libraries, and some of you might be outside, wrapped up in warm coats and scarves. We might have these privileges, but there are people out there who aren’t as lucky and who need our help.
I will be going to Syrian refugee camps in Lebanon with the Human Relief Foundation, where those who have fled for safety are enduring freezing temperatures. Me and the team will be distributing blankets, warm clothing and food packs to our Muslim families who are suffering in the winter temperatures as severe as -5 degrees without warm clothes or food.
