Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We as family members of Jamal Uddin, Mubaraka Begum and Khurseed Begum are raising funds to make a water well in their memory. 

Water is a valuable resource in both life and in the ways of Islam, and as such, it is considered a great charitable act in Islam to give water to another living thing on earth. Such act is greatly rewarded and brings us closer to Allah.

The Holy Prophet (PBUH) once narrated:

“The best form of charity is to give someone water.” 

 This act of kindness will be remembered for generations as not only will their souls benefit from the good works their family continues to do for the sake of Allah and to win his pleasure alone but it also helps those most in need of this simple yet most basic need.

May Allah reward all those who contribute towards this charitable cause. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) has stated that every act of goodness is charity.
