We at James Cook A&E smashed our target last year and raised £15,000 for this Magnificent service, this year we want more!!!!! We are taking part in the Race to the Base in support The Great North Air Ambulance Service which provides world-class, critical care across the North East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria. Their doctor-led critical care team delivers life-saving treatments at the scene of an incident whether that is on a fell top, a roadside or in a city centre. The charity responded to over 1,600 emergency call-outs last year*, where they performed treatments and procedures which can mean the difference between life or death.*2021
