Story

Like many others I've decided to help raise funds for an Epilepsy charity in memory of my ' little ' cousin Chris Allinson.

I was already running at the London Marathon this year as I have done for the last few years. However I'd like to dedicate this years run to our Chris.

Chris always showed interest in my running and even phoned me before last years London Marathon to ask how I was feeling, wish me luck and he finished the conversation telling me " Proud of you cous, Love ya ". I remember coming off the phone at the expo telling Jess what he'd said and feeling a bit choked up. If I could speak to him now I'd tell him exactly the same thing. Looking back now it makes me realise he had a heart of gold.

I remember running round Guisborough with Chris once, Its probably the only sport I had a chance against him. He struggled a bit to keep up but set the record straight a couple of months later in a game of squash! It was that one sided he turned it into a coaching session!

Marathon training starts this week and I would love nothing more than to run my fastest marathon for our Chris.

Any donations no matter how small will be greatly received for a great cause and in memory of a great lad.

Thoughts as always are with Uncle Len, Aunty Al, Dan, Andy & Millie.

Always on my mind Cous. x
