It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with the deadliest common cancer die within three months. That’s why they need and deserve more. More research, more funding, more breakthroughs. More than hope. Together we’ll make that possible.

Story

Richie and James are going out of their comfort zones this June to run a marathon in Shetland in aid of pancreatic cancer research, a charity close to their hearts.

They started running in the first lockdown, struggling to complete 5k at first. They now intend to run the full 42.2km, 26.2 mile route between the North Mainland and Scalloway.

They've both lost close family and friends, who bravely battled this devastating disease, including James' Dad Keith.

It's a mammoth task for them, but one they're desperate to achieve in the memory of those taken too soon and to support further research towards a cure for future generations.

Each and every donation gratefully received ❤
