Each year 450 UK children are diagnosed with brain cancer. Among these there is a tumour so aggressive that there is NO effective treatment or a CURE - Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma or DIPG. Responsible for 80% of all brain tumour death we raise vital research funds to give hope to DIPG families.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The challenge of running a marathon ten years ago was greeted with open arms, however over the past few years the running shoes haven't seen the light of day... much. But raising money fir the amazing Abbie's Army, who pledge 100% of all funds received to R&D is the least we can do.

In April last year my Daughter lost her ''Bestie''; Summer,. Summer Page lost her brave battle against a very rare form of brain cancer namely; Dip-G. The cancer has 100% fatality rate against children and has no mainstream funding for research. The Amazing Amanda at Abbie's Army who lost her daughter the same way (Abbie) works tirelessly to make sure that the R&D doesn't stop and that one day a cure will be found.

So, my little stagger around London for your kind donations will go a little way to making sure that families in the future don't have to suffer the same horrific fate.
