We work in the North West London and South Hertfordshire areas, taking in and rehoming stray and unwanted pets, We provide welfare assistance to ensure animals receive veterinary care and help with neutering and microchipping.

Story

The RSPCA Middlesex North West & South Hertfordshire Branch aim to promote kindness and to prevent and suppress cruelty to animals by all lawful means.

As a branch of the RSPCA it is run independently and as a separately registered charity; this means they are largely responsible for raising their own funds locally to help the animals in need in the local area. Funds are raised through events such as this, their charity shops, and through the generosity of the    general public.

Each year, they work with 1000s of animals.  From those brought into their care due to abandonment or neglect, to those whose owners have sadly passed away or had a change in circumstances. The team work on finding new, loving homes whilst the animals are placed in a caring foster home or are    accommodated in their fully equipped, modern cattery. In addition to the rehoming work, they also support over 1000 pet owners each year through financial assistance schemes, promote animal care and welfare through educational talks and provide access to advice and support through their animal    welfare team.
