Pedal for Pounds 10.5 with Made by Cooper is a 130 mile bike ride in aid of the Huddersfield Town Foundation, Yorkshire Air Ambulance, The Kirkwood and Platform 1

Story

The Ride

This year I am taking on a different challenge to my previous four day bike rides. Only two days...but the first day is 110 miles (177km) through the Yorkshire Dales to Harrogate.

This is the longest ride I have ever attempted in one day and contains some rather steep climbs. Including Park Rash, considered one of the most difficult in Yorkshire.

The next day, we will ride the direct route of 33 miles back to Huddersfield.

All associated ride costs (food/hotel/energy gels!) will be covered by myself or the organiser, to maximise the amount that can go to good causes.

The Charities

I am raising money to split between:

1. Yorkshire Air Ambulance
2. The Kirkwood (a very special hospice in Huddersfield)
3. Breakfast Clubs for children in Huddersfield
4. Platform 1 (a mental health charity)

All donations are greatly appreciated. Thank you
