Story

In memory of our beautiful brilliant mother Brenda, we will be joining many others in this fantastic cycling event to raise money for a great cause.  Samantha, Holly and James, who are Brenda's children, wish to do this for the Cynthia Spencer Hospice, who looked after her with the greatest of care.

After only recently hearing about this event, the three of us look to complete the ride in honour to our mother.  So it is very important to us to achieve this, in order for us to give back to the Cynthia Spencer Hospice, for what they did for our mother.

We are making a difference this year by taking on Cycle4Cynthia and raising funds for Cynthia Spencer Hospice whose services and care makes a difference to the lives of patients and families throughout Northamptonshire. This year Cynthia Spencer celebrates a special birthday.. 45 years of caring for our community! Please make a difference too, by helping me to help the Hospice and donating whatever you can. Thank you!£4.50 could give a wellbeing patient access to virtual support including relaxation techniques, seated Tai Chi and fatigue management.£24.50 - could buy the resources for a child to start creating a memory box to remember a loved one.£45 - could help fund a counselling session for a patient or their loved one to support them at a challenging time.£145 - could pay for an overnight stay by Hospice @ Home nurse at a patient's home.
