National Three Peaks Challenge · 24 July 2021

We‘re the world‘s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving and improving lives through research. We fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.

Story

James, Mitch and Alex will be taking part in The National Three Peaks Challenge on 24th July. The challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales, within 24 hours.

The three mountains are:

  • Ben Nevis, in Scotland (1345m)
  • Scafell Pike, in England (978m)
  • Snowdon, in Wales (1085m)

The total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and the total ascent is 3064 metres (10,052ft).

We are fundraising for Cancer Research UK, a charity that is close to all 3 of us. Any donations, big or small, are appreciated!
