Story

Dear Family and Friends,

This page is in memory of my Mother-in-law, Jill Wagstaff, who sadly passed away on the 11th January 2021.

Jill was a beloved Wife to Tony, a loving Mother to Catherine, Emma and Mark. Jill was also a very special Nana to her nine Grandchildren, Alex, Rebecca, Abbie, Mathew, Izzy, Jacob, Joshua, Imogen and Aurelia.

This has been set up as Jacob, Jill’s Grandson, was diagnosed with a tumour at the back of his left eye at the age of just 7 months, due to the growth of the tumour he went through a six-month treatment of chemotherapy together with laser eye treatment. The outcome of which was that he lost his detailed vision in his eye. Thankfully, he is now a fit and healthy young man with perfect vision in his right eye.

Many children have suffered much worse than Jacob and the family, on behalf of Jill would be grateful of any contributions to raise money for The Childhood Eye Cancer Trust to assist with the awareness and potential 'one day' cure for this and other related cancers which approximately 1,500 children are diagnosed with every year.

With our sincere thanks.
