SportsAid is the only national charity of its kind, proudly supporting young British sportsmen and women who aspire to be our next Olympic, Paralympic, Commonwealth and world champions.

Story

Thank you very much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving Page!

On April the 23rd, I will be running my first ever Marathon in support of SportsAid. Being competitive by nature, I am also looking to complete the Marathon in a decent time. My target is to complete it in 3 hours and 15 minutes!

SportsAid helps aspiring British athletes to achieve their ambitions by giving them the financial support needed during the early stages of their career. Without this, many of the UK’s brightest prospects would have no funding for transport, kit, nutrition, or even to compete.

SportsAid has helped to provide funding for many sportsmen and women including Sir Chris Hoy, David Weir, Mo Farah, Jessica Ennis-Hill, Bradley Wiggins, Sir Steve Redgrave, Paula Radcliffe, Amir Khan, Dame Sarah Storey and Tom Daley. I would like to raise money to help support some of our next generation athletes, in their bid to become future Olympians and Paralympian's, helping them to inspire the nation through building a successful career in sport.

Thank you again for visiting my page – please donate as little or as much as you can as every penny counts. Hope to see you some of you at the finish line!!!
