Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page you lovely person!!

I'm taking part in a unique and gruelling challenge that involves six days of cycling through the Eastern Ghats of India, covering over 400km. I'll be riding up and across said Ghats (mountians), along valley bottoms, powering up coastal climbs (with my Chris Hoy-like thighs) and taking an occasional breather on flat inland stretches - albeit in the Indian heat! The trip is taking place from 26th October 2018 and begins and ends in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Why am I doing this you ask?

Good question! It's to support FRANK Water, a local Bristol based charity who we support actively at Worktribe, and to raise funds and awareness about their properly worthwhile cause. They aim to address a big problem; namely providing safe drinking water to the 663 million people worldwide who still lack access to this basic human right. They tackle this directly by leading projects in some of the most deprived communities in India and Nepal to help them secure safe, clean drinking water and sanitation, and sustain the government funding required to do so.

Safe Water Saves Lives - so it would be great if you could help a little towards my goal to ensure FRANK can keep doing what they do. Any money you donate goes direct to FRANK water and helps them continue their great work, and you can see what kind of direct impact your money has by visiting the link below. Thanks!
