By our 40th anniversary, FMS donated over £1 million in grants to support disadvantaged people. FMS supports charities that improve lives globally, focusing on medical causes. FMS partnered with World Extreme Medicine to provide trauma supplies for Ukraine, contributing £30,000 with £137,000 in external donations. Over £2m in medical supplies has been delivered to Ukraine.

I know.....before you start having a go at me....I am very late sending this out!!!

As many of may know I am running the Cologne Marathon on the 13th October. I am amazed at how many people have asked me how long the Colgone Marathon is.......so just to clarify its 26 miles 385 yards!

Whilst at the Glastonbury Festival this year, I was privelidged to be with the Field Medical Services (FMS) Team who volunteer their services for free, to help those who need medical assistance. Part of what FMS do is to raise money for charities overseas. I am trying to raise as much money as possible to build a maternity unit for the Kambeng Trust. The Trust supports villages in Gambia, providing both education and medical support. A maternity unit will save not only thousands of babies each year, but the mothers of these children who may have complication, that untreated are life threatning,
