Brighton Marathon 2014 · 6 April 2014 ·

Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and South East Hampshire, caring for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age every year, both at the hospice and in families’ own homes.

Story

So this is the big one - my first marathon and a great excuse to fundraise for such a worthy cause.

My chosen Charity is Chestnut Tree House. Opened in 2003, Chestnut Tree House is very much a home-from-home environment for children and their families. It is also a place of love, understanding and caring, a place of fun, laughter, hope, friendship and yes, sometimes sadness.

Most of all, Chestnut Tree House is a place for living!
