In 2019, prisons across the UK are joining CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) in their movement against male suicide, the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK.

Story

CALM

This is how:

> We run a free helpline 0800 585858 and webchat (5pm-12am daily) for men in crisis They are confidential, anonymous and staffed by trained professionals.
> We provide bereavement support through the Support After Suicide Partnership, hosted by CALM.
> www.theCALMzone.net is CALM's website. It hosts inspiring content written by men for men alongside information and support.
> We run successful campaigns tackling stereotypes of masculinity, suicide and male mental health, including #ManDictionary, #DontBottleItUp and #Project84

CALM's helpline and webchat services directly prevented 647 suicides in 2018.

Our goal is a life less miserable for you, your friends, your family and for all men.

One life-saving call costs £8. Thank you for playing your part.
