Story
Following my horrific experience cycling to Paris in 2019 I was adamant I would not be joining the boys this year for the trip to Amsterdam to raise funds in honour of our great friend Matthew Pinnock, who sadly died from a brain tumour. He and his family were supported by the great staff at YLVC (formerly CLIC Sargent)
My general disdain for all things cycling and lack of fitness made my decision rather easy. This was until 3-6 weeks out from the trip (I forget the exact date) I realised how lucky I am to be able to make the decision to go or not and absolute legends like Pinnock don’t have this privilege anymore after being taken away so young.
So 3- 6 weeks ago I hopped on my bike and have tried to get some muscles into my legs in time. I haven’t done that, but I do have the support of my pals to help drag me through all the way from London to Amsterdam,, all in honour of the great man himself.
As most of you will have already donated to one of the lads I’m not asking for much, but what I would ask, is that if you feel sorry for me at any point over what will be incessant instagram story updates, please donate whatever you can on what will be the 10th year anniversary of Matthew being taken from us
If I break the target there will be sensual Lycra photos shoots uploaded in thanks to you all.
