We support people living with RA and JIA to be able to live the life they want to

Story

The National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society (NRAS), is the only patient-led organisation in the UK, specialising in rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). Due to its targeted focus on RA and JIA, NRAS provides truly expert and wide-ranging services to support, educate and campaign for people living with these complex autoimmune conditions, their families and the health professionals who treat them.

Ra is a disease that causes sever fatigue, pain and can often lead to have to undergo a variety of treatment and medication and even operations to help with damaged joints. RA can also affect other organs such as the heart, lungs and eyes and can increase the risk of heart disease and other conditions associated with those
organs.

Around 400,000 adults live with RA in the UK and approx. 12,000 children with JIA. It can affect anyone at any time in their life.
