Story

On Saturday 16th June, myself and a number of my friends and family will be taking part in a 5k inflatable fun-run to raise awearness for The Polycystic Kidney Disease Charity, because we need to put an end to PKD, and who knows I may even put my throw on my cape and run in superman's name!

Background

After a number of years of IVF and struggling to concive, my brother and his wife finally had the most amazing news in may 2017 that they were soon to be parents. To our surprise over Christmas the family grew bigger with the ever-so-slightly early arrival of my nephew Clark Michael. Sadly only 4 days after birth, Clark passed away. Clark unfortunatley had a condition called polycystic kidney disease (PKD) that effects 1 in 20,000 children world wide during pregnancy and is currently effecting about 70,000 adults and children in the UK. Before birth we as a family knew nothing about the disease as i'm sure many of you don't now, and because of this we want/need to raise awearness!

What can we do?

With your help we can find a cure and raise awareness for such an awful condition so in the future no one has to go through the pain of losing their child.

Please if it's only the cost of a coffee or price of a pint, please donate!
