Story
On Sunday 25 July, and for the third year, myself and my guide Tim will be taking part in the London 10k to raise funds to help WheelPower (the National Charity for Wheelchair Sport) restart sport for disabled people after the pandemic.
This will be a challenge as I am registered blind but with everyone’s support, the money I raise will help WheelPower to restart national programmes for wheelchair users after the Covid-19 pandemic. This includes the important work that WheelPower does for newly injured patients within spinal injury units and others living with a spinal cord injury. Funds will also support young disabled people through our sports festivals and annual events programme which the charity is so looking forward to starting again.
