I have always been highly motivated when it comes to partaking in physical activity, therefore it made perfect sense to enter the 2014 London Marathon and support The Anita White Foundation (AWF).

Launched in 2011 and based at the University of Chichester, the AWF aims to support the education and development of women leaders from Countries where they face particular challenges.

In June 2014, the AWF will host The Women's Sport Leadership Academy which will attract female delegates from the rest of the world. As a result, I would like to raise enough money in order to fund the trips of two individuals. This could provide a further stepping stone in developing sport in less privileged nations, and overcome many of the barriers that many still face.
