Oxford to Cambridge CARA cycle ride · 11 May 2018

Cara (the Council for At-Risk Academics) provides urgently-needed help to academics in immediate danger, those forced into exile, and many who choose to work on in their home countries despite serious risks. Cara also supports higher education institutions whose work is at risk or compromised.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Pembroke, and a number of universities across the UK, are working with CARA, rescuing and supporting academics from Syria, in the hope that when the war is over they can return and rebuild their country. CARA has been doing this work since they began rescuing academics from Germany in 1935.

This cycle ride between our great university cities will help us raise money for this work which is growing exponentially. Please give generously.
