Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

i really appreciate those people who have kindly donated before - your contributions have been put to great use by Macmillan cancer support, helping improve the lives of cancer sufferers throughout the UK.  However, your support is still needed.

My dad died from cancer but I'll never forget the unstinting support and care that was provided by Macmillan before he died.  They are a magnificent bunch of people who helped me and my family through the most traumatic of times.

The last couple of years it's been the Jane Tomlinson Leeds 10k that you've supported me.  Foolishly, I let myself be convinced that running the New York Marathon was a good way to celebrate my 50th birthday!!  So, now that I'm committed, i hope you will be too.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
