Story

The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, were moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. We're set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change. And were doing it right now. Because we understand that when you, or someone you love, is diagnosed with a brain tumour a cure really can't wait.

Neil was the sort of guy everyone wanted to have as a friend - great fun, loyal and always there when you needed him. I speak for many people when I say I’ll miss him forever. He was taken from his wife Lea and his children Scott and Meg far too soon. I did this half marathon in aid of another friend several years ago and Neil was so pleased I was doing it in aid of a brain tumour charity and was his usual fully supportive self. For this reason I feel compelled to do this event in his honour and raise as much money as possible for the Brain Tumour Charity. Love you man. Xxx
