You may have heard the term 'rare disease' but you probably can't name one, let alone picture what life might be like for a child living with one.
Every family we talk to tells us about the huge challenges and obstacles they face. But worse, is the sense of isolation.
Imagine if your child was the only one you know in your family, in your city, or even in the country with a rare diagnosis. Who would you turn to for answers? Who would look your family in the eye and say "it's going to be okay"?
No child or family should feel alone.
Please show our brave families that they aren't and support our Star Appeal, to fund the UK's first Rare Diseases Centre for children.
With your help we can improve thousands of lives.
To date we have raised just over £1.5 million, but we need to reach a £3.65 million target by the end of the year. Please consider donating.
