As some of you will know, I am currently deployed on operations east of suez with the Royal Navy Reserve. As you will all now know I have also foolishly decided to enter the Edinburgh Marathon soon after I come back. This is going to mean that after a year of too many night shift kebabs I am having to face a challening training schedule carried out well I am at times at sea, and facing tempretures that can range from 20 - 40 degrees, and fitting it in between the work I am doing out here. I am doing it all to raise money for Erskine Homes, which cares for ex service personel, and has homes in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
