On May 08 2013, my friend Alex Cooper passed away. She was a lovely person and very dear to all who knew her, and left us far too young.

Since then, much water has flown under the bridge, and I've become a keen runner, running two half-marathons in the last year. I've never done a marathon though (and don't intend to do more than one!)

To commemorate a decade since Alex's passing, and finally achieve the distance so good the Greeks named a city after it, I'll be running the Milton Keynes Marathon on May 1st.

I'll be raising money for Melanoma Focus, the disease which cost Alex her life.

I am hugely grateful for any donations, no matter how small, you can put my way.
