Six men in two boats

From 31st July to the 6th August I will be part of a six man team skiffing two traditional vessels down the Thames from Oxford to Richmond. The journey is over 100 miles and, given the congestion on the river, is likely to take at least 5 days. The voyage is a tribute to Jerome K Jerome's classic Three Men in a Boat. However this is not just a tribute, is a serious attempt to raise money for Help for Heroes, an incredibly worthy cause.
The charirty, as I am sure you are now all aware, assists British servicemen wounded in active service. These brave heroes have volunteered to fight on our behalf, and as such, fully deserve our help.
