In January 2016, Carillion launched our new ‘together’charity partnership with Hospice UK, the national charity for hospice care.

This partnership means that we will be supportingmany of the 200 hospices in the UK for the next two years through fundraisingand volunteering. This is a great opportunity for us to join together withsuppliers, customers and partners to support the fantastic work of hospicescaring for those with life limiting or terminal illnesses and their families.

On Friday 24 June, as partof Team Carillion, I will set out on a two day 160 mile cycle challenge to helpraise much needed funds for Hospice UK.  Theteam brings together colleagues, customers and partners on a ride that willtake us on the route of Hadrian’s Wall, not once, but twice! Starting andfinishing in Cumbria, the ride will see us ride the length of the wall and backagain with a brief overnight stop in Tynemouth.

Over the next couple of weeks I will be clocking up the training miles inall weathers so I would really appreciate your support tohelp me raise as much money as possible for Hospice UK.
