Story

Hi Everyone,

My name is James. I am 32 and a support worker for RAD. I have been profoundly deaf since birth and my first language is BSL. During the Covid Crisis I have continued working providing care and I found this and being unable to interact with family and friends had a really bad impact on my mental health.

I have recently returned to exercise as a way to lower my anxiety. I know many of my friends in the Deaf community have felt extremely isolated during the crisis and this is having a huge impact on their mental health.
We all have to do what we can and so I have decide to do a sponsored cycle ride from London to Dover to raise funds for Sign Health. I will starting on Monday 26th October.

Please support me. It will mean so much to me and will be helping Sign Health to help the deaf community during this difficult time. Every donation is gratefully received.

Thank You all in advance. James x
