On Wednesday the 17th of June, we lost our beautiful baby girl Amelie shortly after we welcomed her to the world. 

We were horrified to learn over these coming days that 14 babies a day in the UK pass away. 

Monday the 22nd of June is James’ birthday, that means that by then, horrifically another 70 babies will have died and another 140 parents will be feeling like we are now. Devastated, heartbroken but full of love for our little baby girl. 

She may not have been with us long but we want her legacy to be lasting and strong. If people can spare anything at all to help SANDS the UK’s leading stillbirth and neonatal support charity, then please give whatever you can. If you can’t spare anything please share and spare a thought. 

The best present that you could give James and Hannah on his birthday is any spare change and a quiet moment of thought for our beautiful baby girl Amelie. Amelie we will love you forever.
