Story
Thanks for visiting my page.
I got into cycling after watching Vincenzo Nibali rip past the peloton in Sheffield on stage 3 of the 2014 Tour de France. But despite being inspired by speed, I always knew that rather than wanting to go fast, I wanted to go far.
People have asked me why I do long rides, or why I always cycle to work no matter the weather, and I think the reason is because I want to prove to myself that I can.
My Mum sadly died in 2016 after having MS for most of her life. Despite her not being with us for as long as we wanted her to be, she fit so much into her life. She raised four boys, rode horses and wrote a novel, and every day she inspires me to live my life to the full.
On July 30th I'll be riding London Edinburgh London. It's a 1400km bike ride held by Audax UK. I'm both inspired by, and doing it in memory of Jane, and I'd love it if you donated a couple of quid to the MS Society, to help out those amazing individuals like my Mum living their lives to the full despite all they are facing.
