The last time I visited my uncle, Trefor Neal, he told me about his cycling trip to Paris  as a teenager, a fascinating story. Shortly afterwards my friend Glyn told me he had joined the Myeloma Ride to Paris event, and the coincidence made me consider joining in as well. The ride presents a physical challenge for me, and the chance to raise money for a worthy cause while visiting Paris for the first time.

Glyn realised he had Myeloma in 2013, he has had stem cell treatment, and recovered from being hardly able to walk. He was told last year that he was relapsing, and has decided to get fit to continue his fight against the condition, the Paris ride was a good target towards this. I really admire his attitude, and we both want to raise money to fight this disease.

The entrants pay all the costs of entering the event, and all donations go straight to the charity.
