James and Louis Coast2Coast challenge

Mental health issues have increased dramatically over the last decade, in 2018 alone, there were 6507 suicides in the UK, which equates to 18 people a day. So, Myself and Louis Glaves have decided to attempt the 140 mile coast to coast bike ride challenge, which will take us from Whitehaven to Tynemouth. We are planning to cycle this long ride in one day in the last week of August.
We have decided to raise money for a local charity called ‘Action for Wellbeing’. Action for Wellbeing aims to reduce the number of suicides in the north Lancashire/south Cumbria area, and to support those affected by suicide. This charity is especially close to my heart as nearly 4 years ago my sister, Cheyenne Gardner, took her own life after battling with mental health issues for many years. My mother has also been dedicated to this charity to try and help as many people suffering from mental health issues in the local area.
Any donations and support will be greatly appreciated, thank you x
