On November 26th 2017, I will be joining a huge crowd in Addis Ababa, the capital and largest city in Ethiopia to run a 10 kilometre event. I along with a group of Specsavers employees from around the UK will be fundraising for the charity Vision Aid Overseas. 

Worldwide there are 640million people living with poor vision simply because they need glasses. It is a fact that 80% of visual impairment worldwide can be prevented or cured completely. The world health organisation insists that restoring sight is the most cost effective health intervention to reduce poverty. 

It is Vision Aid Overseas mission to enable people living in poverty to access affordable glasses and eye care.
