Story
When the opportunity arose for me to raise money for Marie Curie by hiking up Morocco's Mount Toubkal through the University of Sheffield, I signed myself up straight away.
The work that Marie Curie does is beneficial to so many. The charity provides support for those living with a terminal illness. Their nurses and hospices make the final months, weeks and days of people's lives as comfortable as they can be, and their bereavement service offers lasting support for those affected by loss.
Whether you've used Marie Curie's services before or not, you'll know that it's important this work continues. After all, we never know when something beyond our control can occur, and we may need their help.
No doubt about it, it will take a lot of training to prepare for... but I will be ready! Bring on North Africa's highest peak!
