On the 22nd April I’ll be running the Leona Divide 50 mile ultra marathon in California. I’ll be raising money for my late brother Tim’s amazing Garden Gate Project in Margate UK. 

Tim was one of the founding members of this vital community garden focused on the well-being and cohesion of the local community of Margate. The Garden Gate enables people to improve their quality of life, social interaction, physical and mental health in a supportive community environment.

After Tim tragically passed from Covid-19 in 2020 Garden Gate set up the Tim Mountford Memorial Fund: We want to capture Tim's sense of community and support through this important fund, which will give young people a unique, exciting route to learn employable green skills. 

I hope that we can raise some money to keep Tim’s dream alive and flourishing.
