Race to the Stones 2023 · 8 July 2023 to 9 July 2023 ·

Group B Streptococcus is the UK's most common cause of life-threatening infection in newborn babies & of meningitis in babies under age 3 months. Most of these infections are preventable. Group B Strep Support informs families & health professionals about group B Strep to save tiny lives.

Story

This year I will be taking part in my first ever 100km ultramarathon, tackling the original Race to the Stones challenge to Avebury stone circle, in memory of my late son TJ.

I’m doing this to raise money for Group B Strep Support (GBSS) - Group B Strep is the reason why TJ is not with us today.

This will undoubtedly be one of the hardest events I have taken on to date so I would really appreciate your generous support to keep me motivated over the 100kms up over the Chiltern Hills and the North Wessex Downs.

Thank you!
