Story

I'm raising money for Brain Tumour Research, a charity based in Milton Keynes that is doing great things to support targeted research into this type of cancer - one that has been relatively underfunded to date.

My mate Greg was one of my best climbing partners, we had some great adventures together and he was a really talented and determined climber. He died in January 2017 after a long fight with brain tumours. He was only 37 and left behind his wife and young son.

My grandfather also died from a brain tumour in 2005.

"Brain tumours are indiscriminate; they can affect anyone at any age. What’s more, they kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer... yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease."
