Last year I was
lucky enough to participate in the Big Battlefield Bike Ride over approximately
350 Miles, Visiting World War 1 Battlefields from Ypres to Verdun.

During this I was
very lucky to meet many people whom H4H had helped directly, often to assist in
recovery from injuries both seen and unseen. Those people I would describe as
inspirational despite it being a somewhat overused word. Hurty Knee syndrome
doesn’t really cut it (!) when people with less than a full complement of limbs
were doing the distance in good spirits despite the challenges involved.



I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who sponsored my ride last year. The
donations which were made are helping to change the lives of our wounded,
injured and sick servicemen and women.



Rather stupidly, I have decided to grace the ride again this year bringing Ian
Field along for the first time.
