Thames Path Challenge - 100k run · 15 March 2021

Able Child works toward a world in which no child with a disability is left behind. We support a network of organisations in Africa to protect, educate and amplify the voices of children and young people with disabilities, so they are able to thrive.

Story

On Good Friday Guy Longley and I are planning to run the Thames Path from Putney to Henley- 100km in one go (although if we get there I imagine we will be crawling by the end of it!).

I am running on behalf of Able Child Africa a charity where I am a trustee and (whilst I am biased) is an amazing cause! Able Child Africa works alongside local partners in Africa to protect, educate and empower children with disabilities to fulfil their potential (https://ablechildafrica.org/).

Fundraising for all charities has been hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled including the 2020 London marathon and Able Child Africa's 2020 black tie dinner - our two largest annual fundraising events. Any donation no matter how large or small will be greatly appreciated!
