GNR 2022 & Kilimanjaro Trek · 19 September 2022

A National Award Winning Charity that offers safe, confidential, dedicated and specialist advice, information, support and emotional wellbeing services for young people aged 11-25 years. We make a positive difference in the lives of children and young people.

Story

In September 2022, I will be competing in the Great North Run half marathon then flying out to Tanzania to trek to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro.

I will be taking the Lomosho Route which covers around 70km to reach the summit of the worlds tallest free standing mountain at 5,895m (19,341ft) and will take 8 days.

I will be raising funds for Streetwise Young People's Project. The trip will be completely funded by myself, meaning all donations go to Streetwise.

Streetwise has been supporting children and young people for over a quarter of a century. The charity has a strong track record of delivering high quality support services in challenging circumstances, meeting the emotional wellbeing and mental health needs of young people whilst helping to develop and influence local and national policy and service development. Streetwise is passionate and deeply committed to improving the lives of children and young people and I am very proud of the work and the difference they make.

If you would like to donate, it would be very much appreciated.
