The Mindstep Lockdown Relay will run from Friday 26th - Sunday 28th February 2021. Each volunteer will be given a 1-hour time slot to complete an activity of their choice (walk, run, swim, cycle, row, hop, crawl etc.) before passing the virtual baton to the next volunteer. The Mindstep Foundation has been established in memory of Max Davies, who sadly died by suicide in 2018. Mindstep funds postgraduate research at the University of Glasgow into the causes of suicide. Most recently, the charity has funded the largest UK study into the effect of the pandemic and subsequent lockdowns on mental health.
