Story

Having been spared by ballot rejection for a number of years, I have finally secured a place for the London Marathon 2023! I will be donating any money I am able to raise to The Dream Factory, a small local charity, based in Hainault and would appreciate anything you can contribute to such a worthy cause.

The Dream Factory aims to brighten the lives and encourage hope for children and young adults aged between 3 and 25 years who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions and/or severe disabilities by way of granting wishes. They make dreams come true for young people facing huge challenges, giving them an opportunity to make lifelong cherished memories with their families, something many of us take for granted.

You can find out more about the story behind the charity and some of the dreams they have granted here.

This is the first (and probably last!) marathon I will ever run, so don’t miss your chance to sponsor my 26.2 miles of pain! Thank you so much.
