Thanks for supporting my fundraising. Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.
On 11th Feb Craig and I will begin our trek up Africa's highest mountain - 5895m. All being well over the course of the next 6 days we will make our way up, following the Lemosho route, camping over night until the final summit attempt on 16th when we set off at midnight with head torches to get to the top. Temperatures can be as low as -27 degrees and oxygen levels will be at 49% of that at sea level. We hope to watch the sun rise on the snowy top of the highest single free standing mountain in the world. Fingers crossed!
